The Ovalle Holdings Vision

Medellín

Medellín is where Ovalle Holdings will extend the engineering team that builds its technology in Miami: a team on Miami’s hours, working to Miami’s specifications.

Medellín’s Role
Strategic Role

Engineering capacity for the technology Ovalle Holdings builds and owns, directed from Miami.

Ovalle Holdings builds its own technology. The platform is designed and written in Miami, by a senior team that works alongside the company’s leadership. Medellín is where that team grows. Once a working platform exists, the engineering hub in Colombia takes on defined work to a specification written in Miami, adding capacity without changing direction.

The order matters: a hub that starts before the platform exists has nothing to build to.

Miami builds the foundation. Colombia extends it.

Ovalle Holdings Leadership

Why Medellín

Colombia sits on Eastern time with Miami, so the two teams share a working day instead of handing work across time zones. For work that turns on detailed specifications, overlapping hours are a requirement, not a preference.

Medellín has a deep and growing engineering market and is established as a technology center. It is a short direct flight from Miami, so leadership can be present in person without the trip becoming an event. And Colombia’s employment framework lets a team be sized to the work, which a hub that grows with each build cycle needs.

How the Hub Works

Every engineer in Medellín reports to the Chief Technology Officer of Ovalle Holdings, who reports to the CEO. Architecture and anything that touches the trading platform stay with the senior team in Miami, and the hub builds to their specifications.

One Platform, Three Cities

Medellín works alongside Miami, where the platform and Quanthera are built, and New York, where Ovalle Holdings structures capital. The technology belongs to Ovalle Holdings and serves every company in the group.

What Comes Next

The hub opens once the platform it supports is working in Miami. From there, its size follows the build: the work defines the team, not the other way around.
